A practical dog-friendly hotel near Odell Park and the Fredericton Botanic Garden where Tilly stayed with us in both 2025 and 2026.
The short version
The Comfort Inn on Prospect Street was our Fredericton overnight on two Eastern Canada trips. A $20 pet fee applied during our 2025 stay; confirm the current charge and restrictions directly before booking.
We originally chose it for its location near Odell Park and the Fredericton Botanic Garden. Both were closed for fire risk during our 2025 visit, but they were open when we returned in July 2026 and made an excellent after-drive hike with Tilly.
Walking from the hotel into downtown is possible, but it is a long, steep route that we would not repeat. The nearby park and garden are the more convenient options for exercising a dog.
