A pleasant dog-friendly hillside motel with views across Kamloops and a manageable walk to downtown.
The short version
The Grandview Motel was a genuinely nice place to stay with Tilly.
It sat a little outside the downtown core, but the walk into town was not excessively long. Its hillside location also gave us broad views over the river and city.
