The short version

Motel au Fleuve d'Argent was our original Rivière-du-Loup stay, in a chalet on green grounds overlooking the Saint Lawrence River.

The setting was really lovely: lots of greenery and beautiful river views after the long drive from Gananoque.

Unfortunately, there was a booking mix-up and our chalet had been double booked. The experience was confusing, especially with my limited French, but the staff moved us across the street to a sister property for the second night.

The dog details

There was a $20 per night pet charge for Tilly during our stay. Confirm current pet fees, chalet availability and restrictions before booking.
