The Wawa Goose
An essential northern Ontario road-trip photograph with useful facilities and a dog-friendly visitor store.
The short version
We stopped at the Wawa Goose while driving around Lake Superior. The monument is easy to reach and gives everyone a chance to get out of the car.
The small store welcomed Tilly, and the clean free bathrooms made the stop especially useful. Tilly was too excited to sit still for the photograph I had imagined.
The dog details
The visitor store was dog friendly during our June 2024 visit. Confirm current indoor access if it is essential to your stop.
