The Big Nickel at Dynamic Earth
Sudbury's enormous roadside landmark, surrounded by rocky grounds that are good for a picnic and walk.
The short version
The Big Nickel was our second stop while driving from Parry Sound to Sault Ste. Marie. It is an obvious place for a road-trip photograph and an easy way to break up the drive through Sudbury.
The outdoor grounds gave us room to walk with Tilly and find a picnic spot. We treated this as an outdoor stop and did not take her into Dynamic Earth.
