Sleep Inn Sault Ste. Marie
A comfortable dog-friendly hotel with welcoming staff, though our upstairs room location was awkward for Tilly.
The short version
We stayed at the Sleep Inn on the way west and again on our return journey. The beds were very comfortable, and the staff really loved Tilly.
On both visits we were assigned an upstairs room in the building on the far side of the property. Tilly was unsure about the steps, so travellers with a stair-shy dog or mobility concerns may want to request a more accessible room in advance.
The dog details
The pet fee was $15 CAD per night, with a maximum of two pets and a 50 lb maximum weight per pet. Confirm current terms when booking.
