The short version

Spencer Smith Park sits on the downtown Burlington waterfront at 1400 Lakeshore Road, with wide paved paths along the lake, a pier and open grassy lawn.

We have walked Tilly here across several seasons, from summer lawn visits to bright October mornings when the trees along the path turn orange.

It is an on-leash park, so no off-leash time, but the paths connect easily to the downtown core and the waterfront trail.

Leashed dogs are welcome on the park paths and lawn. It is not an off-leash park. Confirm current rules and event closures with the City of Burlington before visiting.
