The short version
The Comfort Inn Truro was our overnight stop, with a $20 per night pet charge.
We were allocated an upper-floor room because a wedding party had booked out all of the lower rooms, but the room was quiet enough. The area itself is not super dog friendly — the hotel sits right next to a gas station and a busy road — though a Pet Valu at 87 Robie St and a Global Pet Foods in the Fundy Trail Centre at 68 Robie St were a short walk away, plus plenty of drive-through food options nearby.
