Shag Harbour UFO Landing Site

A rather strange little park dedicated to a supposed 1967 UFO crash — and with the fog, a rather creepy stop.

Shag Harbour UFO Landing Site

The short version

The Shag Harbour UFO Landing Site is a little roadside park dedicated to a supposed UFO crash in the water just offshore in 1967.

It comes with a crash-site sign, a giant lobster statue painted as an alien and a visitor kiosk painted with a UFO beaming up an alien. With the fog rolling over the water on our visit, it was a rather creepy stop.
