Hopewell Rocks Provincial Park
Walk the ocean floor at low tide under the flowerpot rocks on the Bay of Fundy. Dogs are permitted on leash — just read and sign the pet policy at the gate.

The short version
The Hopewell Rocks are flowerpot sea stacks on the Bay of Fundy, carved by some of the highest tides in the world. We timed our day trip from Moncton for low tide, which meant we could walk right out onto the ocean floor beneath the formations.
Dogs are permitted on leash, and the park had me read and sign their pet policy before we went down. Tilly loved being down there — a leashed wander across the seabed with the rock formations towering above and the tide pool puddles to sniff around.
Dogs are permitted on leash. You read and sign the pet policy at entry, and leashed dogs are welcome on the trails and down on the ocean floor at low tide.
