Lake Avenue Dog Off-Leash Beach

The short version

Tilly had fun running into the lake and meeting several other dogs at this public off-leash beach.

The beach was not as pleasant or spacious as Hadden Beach in Vancouver. It was not fenced, and stakes in the ground appeared to indicate where the public dog-beach boundary ended, so close supervision was important.

The dog details

Tilly used the designated off-leash beach in July 2024. Check current City of Kelowna boundaries and rules, and be aware that the area was unfenced during our visit.
