Attraction field notes
Moraine Lake
An intensely turquoise mountain lake with a rocky viewpoint that became difficult as crowds increased.

The short version
We reached Moraine Lake before it became extremely busy and climbed to the higher viewpoint with Tilly.
The rocks required care, and people pushing past without much consideration made the climb more stressful as crowds grew. An earlier morning slot would give a dog and handler more space. A side trail was also available for a longer walk.
The dog details
Tilly stayed leashed. Keep dogs close on the uneven rockpile route, and consider skipping the climb when crowding makes safe passing difficult.
