The short version

We explored the grounds with Tilly and stopped for a photograph beneath the large horse-and-rider monument.

A deer approached through the tall grass and seemed exceptionally friendly. It was still a wild animal, so we kept Tilly secure and avoided encouraging it closer.

The dog details

Tilly joined us outdoors on leash. Keep dogs controlled and maintain space from deer and other wildlife.
