Lake Minnewanka
A striking mountain lake with a rocky shoreline where Tilly could put her feet into the clear water.
The short version
We drove to Lake Minnewanka because we were too early to check into our Canmore accommodation.
The detour became a highlight. Tilly stepped straight into the shallows while we explored the rocky shore and mountain views.
The dog details
Tilly stayed leashed on the shoreline. Follow current national-park rules and keep dogs controlled around wildlife, crowds and cold water.
